Prints

Monotypes are prints that are one-of-a-kind.  They may be painted on a surface, such as plexiglass, and transferred to a wet paper by a printing press.  They may be printed many times with different colors on the same picture.  They may also be worked on after the printing.
Giclee prints are digital ones on very strong paper. The color is refined until an artist’s proof is ready to make a finished print. Once the digital photograph is taken, accurate prints of any size can be made on demand. Etchings are drawings made on zinc or copper plates, etched with acid and transferred to dampened paper in a press.
